This may make it sound like I'm somebody important- I'm not but I do think my birth really was- to me and my mum at least :-) I was born in Glasgow Royal Infirmary maternity- you may know it as Rotten Row - it has since been demolished- but that's another story... I was important because "the birth is a major success for the Glasgow infertility team, which embarked on it's own test tube programme a year ago". Pretty exciting since the Scottish Government had stopped funding for IVF treatments. Here's hoping I keep it up this time- although life is pretty hectic just now- I'm finishing off my uni degree and the company I work for may or may not be closing down- so I have no idea if I will have a job after next week.
